Resume Tips

The following are some basic resume tips to keep in mind when writing your resume. Please see our resume guide for a more comprehensive guide to writing your own resume.

  1. Include a summary which notes your most important skills and achievments relevant to the jobs you are going for. Ensure points you make here are supported later in your resume.
  2. Put in an objective section which shows your career direction and how the job you are applying for is a part of that.
  3. List experience from most recent to oldest.
  4. List your education starting with the most recent and relevant.
